Weather

Hue has two distinct seasons: the one with lots of rain and the other with little wet. The rainy season lasts from September to the end of December. The latter prolongs from the end of December until about April. The remaining months enjoy sunny weather because Hue is in the area of abundant heat radiation.

How To Get There

As a major city in the Central region, Hue is home to Phu Bai airport. So traveling from either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh is very convenient. The fastest way is to buy a plane ticket to Hue. Flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Hue is just a blink of the eyes. After 1 hour and a half, you will be standing in this romantic city. Traveling from Hanoi takes the similar flight time. Trains are an exciting means of travel to admire the beauty of both sides of the road. Travel time from Hanoi takes 14 hours, while from Ho Chi Minh, it is up tp 19 hours. The cheapest way to reach Hue is via public bus, but it will be a 12-hour ride from Hanoi or a 20-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh. With such a long travel time on the road, it can cause back pain and other health problems.

Thien Mu Pagoda:

Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as Linh Mu Pagoda, is an ancient pagoda located on Ha Khe hill, on the left bank of the Perfume River, about 5 km west of Hue city center. Lang Co Beach:

Lang Co Beach has located about 70 km to the south of Hue City; this is a beautiful sand beach with turquoise water. With more than 10 km of white sandy beach, the tremendous blue sea, next to the vast tropical forests this is the stop for any beach lover.

 

 

 

Perfume River:

Perfume River originates from the deep mountain forest behind Truong Son mountain range. From a tiny stream among the mountains, the hills and trees, carrying the aromatic scents of tropical herb, the river flows to the poetic city of Hue and is named Perfume River (Song Huong) by the local for its signature aroma. The river slowly passes through the lush, tree-lined villages mingled with the scent of Hue flowers. Cruising on the Perfume River, emerging in the folk songs of the royal music (Ca tru or Nha nhac cung dinh) the eternal pleasure of many tourists.
